Ford 5.4L Triton Engine
The 5.4L Triton engine is one of the most widely used engines in the industry, found in millions of Ford F150 and F250/350 trucks, vans, SUVs and cars. Part of the “Modular” engine family, this engine was used from 1997 right up to 2017. Although generally considered to be a reliable engine, it was not without some common faults—many of which we’ve addressed in our remanufactured versions.
